City Announces Dates For Annual Tree Recycling Program

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The city's annual tree-recycling program has announced dates for 2015.

The program will begin on Monday, January 5th and run through Saturday, January 17th.

Residents looking to drop off their trees for recycling can take them to the Streets Department Sanitation Convenience Centers, which are open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday through Saturday. The centers are located at:

- 3033 S. 63rd Street
- Domino Lane & Umbria Street
- State Road & Ashburner Street
- 2601 W. Glenwood Avenue

The city also says there will be tree drop-off sites throughout Philadelphia at 23 different locations on Saturday, January 10th and Saturday, January 17th.
