Child Found Drowned In Atlantic County Pool

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) -- A two-year-old child was found drowned in a pool in Atlantic County, New Jersey Saturday morning.

Galloway Township Police responded to a report of a missing child on South Pitney Road around 8:30 a.m.

Upon canvassing the area, police found the child unresponsive in a nearby pool.

CPR was administered and the child was taken to the hospital, where the child then passed away.

The incident is currently under police investigation.
