Cherry Hill Mall Offers First Of Its Kind Experience To Meet Santa

By Mike Dougherty

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (CBS) - Santa has arrived at the Cherry Hill Mall. And With the help of Shrek and Donkey, children will get the chance to build a sleigh to meet Old St. Nick.

It's all part of a DreamWorks production interactive experience.

Amanda, who tried it with her five-year-old son Johnny, says it's a ton of fun:

"When you go to a regular mall and wait in line to see Santa that's all you get to do. Here you get to build the sleigh, get to play games, they interact with he kids. Overall it's ten times better."

It all takes place inside of a state-of-the-art, seven room cottage.

There are only eight other "Adventure to Santa" exhibits in the country, and this is the only one in the region.

Best of all, it's free unless you buy photos. But families must make reservations to participate.
