Car Thieves Crash Stolen SUV Into Woods In Olney, Flee On Foot
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for several men who ditched a stolen SUV after crashing in the woods in North Philadelphia.
Authorities say officers were pursuing the suspected car thieves around 3 a.m. Monday when the driver lost control and smashed the stolen vehicle into the woods at Crescentville Road and Adams Avenue in the city's Olney section.
Police say several men jumped out of the vehicle and took off on foot into the woods.
None of suspects were initially captured.
