Cape May Ranked One Of America's Favorite Food Cities

CAPE MAY, NJ (CBS) – Congratulations are in order for Cape May.

The Jersey shore town has just been ranked among the top food cities as selected by Conde Nast readers.

"As part of our Readers' Choice Awards survey, we asked you to rank your favorite food cities in the U.S.," Conde Nast writes.

Out of 20, Cape May came in 19th on the list. The Victorian seaside escape earned top marks for its plethora of historic eateries (like 410 Bank Street and the Washington Inn) as well as for seafood spot The Lobster House and the beloved brunch at the Mad Batter.

Other cities on the list include Savannah, Aspen, Boston and Chicago.

New York took the number one spot. Sadly, Philadelphia didn't even make the cut.
