Brazen: Philly Police Say Woman Stole Wallet Inside Criminal Justice Center

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are searching for the female who is accused of stealing a victim's wallet inside the city's Criminal Justice Center.

The theft happened on May 6th at the CJC building on Filbert Street in Center City.

According to investigators, the female suspect removed the victim's wallet from her purse while inside the Justice Center.

A short time later, surveillance cameras from several stores along Aramingo Avenue captured images of a female attempting to use the victim's credit cards that were stolen along with the wallet.

The suspect is described as a black female in her early to mid 20's with a heavy build. She was wearing a head scarf, white t-shirt, blue jeans and a black sweater.

Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to call 911.
