Atlantic City Could Soon Allow Open Containers Of Alcohol On Boardwalk

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) – Atlantic City could soon feel more like Las Vegas or New Orleans. Open containers of alcohol may be on the way in New Jersey.

The New Jersey Law and Public Safety committee passed a bill Thursday that would allow for open containers of alcohol on the boardwalk.

A chairman of the Alcohol Beverage Control Board said they hope to see it become law by the Fourth of July weekend.
