5 Injured In SEPTA Bus, Car Crash In North Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- SEPTA officials said five people were injured after a SEPTA bus collided with a car in North Philadelphia Wednesday afternoon.

The crash happened at about 12:15 p.m. near N. 6th and West Somerset Streets.

SEPTA officials say the Route 47 bus was travelling southbound when it collided with the car.

Four people on the bus were injured and one person was injured in the car. The injuries are considered minor.

A cause is under investigation, but officials believe the car may have ran a red light.
