2 Killed Following Head-On Crash In Winslow Twp.

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS)—Two people are dead following a head-on crash this morning in New Jersey.

It happened just before 7:30 a.m. near Williamstown Road and Erial Road in Winslow Township.

Police say the driver of a 2003 Chevy Malibu was traveling westbound on Williamstown Road when they crossed over the center line and struck 2014 Honda Civic in the eastbound direction.

The Malibu then continued to travel westbound where it overturned on the road.

Police say Janiyah Conquest, 19, of Sicklerville, was a passenger inside the Malibu. Police say was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Joel Hutton, 23, of Berlin, was identified as the driver of the Malibu. He also died at the scene.

Two other people were hospitalized due to injuries sustain in the crash, including the driver of the Honda Civic. Their condition is unknown at this time.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
