Firefighters Battle 2-Alarm Blaze In Ship Bottom

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J., (CBS) – Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire in Ship Bottom, Ocean County Monday afternoon.

The fire was reported shortly before 4 p.m. in the 2100 block of Long Beach Boulevard.

The view from Chopper 3 showed a large response of fire crews at the scene.

Due to the fire department and police activity, police urged residents to avoid the area of 21st Street and Long Beach Boulevard.

There were no reports of injuries.
