1 Injured After Construction Collapse In Bucks County

FURLONG, Pa. (CBS) -- One person was injured after a collapse of wooden roof trusses of a building that was under construction in Bucks County Thursday morning.

The collapse happened at about 9 a.m. in the 2300 block of Heritage Center Drive in Furlong, Bucks County.

The collapse happened at the site of a commercial building that was under construction. Authorities say the wood framing of the roof collapsed.

Authorities say a subcontractor was trapped for approximately an hour and had to be removed from the rubble.

That individual was taken to Temple University Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. The condition of that individual was not immediately known.

Investigators are trying to determine what caused the building to collapse.
