1 Killed In Truck, Charter Bus Crash In Quakertown

QUAKERTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- One person was killed after a crash involving a pick-up truck and a charter bus in Bucks County early Monday morning.

The deadly accident happened at about 5 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Route 309 at Pumping Station Road in Quakertown.

According to investigators, the pick-up truck rear-ended the charter bus. The driver of the pick-up truck was killed. The identity of the driver was not released.

It was not immediately known if there were any passengers aboard the charter bus.

The deadly crash remains under investigation.
