1 Dead In Apartment Complex Fire In Delaware

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) – A fire broke out at Newark, Delaware apartment complex, killing one person and injuring two others, including a firefighter.

Crews rushed to the scene of the Possum Park Apartments on Old Capitol Trail in New Castle County Friday morning around 10 a.m.

One victim was found dead inside of the building.

At this time, there is no word on the identity of the person killed.

The other victims' injuries are considered non-life threatening.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal and the fire department.
