Rangers Recall Forward Tanner Glass From Hartford

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New York Rangers have recalled veteran forward Tanner Glass from Hartford of the AHL.

Rangers general manager Jeff Gorton announced the move Wednesday, hours before a game against the rival Islanders.

Glass, 32, skated in two games with the Rangers this season, posting a plus-one rating and recording four penalty minutes. He also has skated in 17 games with the Wolf Pack this season, with two goals and three assists.

The Rangers (17-6-2, 36 points) are in first place in the Metropolitan Division.
