Queens Village Man Allegedly Threatened To Blow Up Several Police Precincts

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- A Queens village man has been accused of making terroristic threats to police.

As WCBS 880's Sophia Hall reported, Richard Bolton admitted that he made the terroristic threats to Nassau County cops and the NYPD.

The 30-year-old was upset over summonses that he received so he called 911 and said that he had a bomb strapped around him and was going to blow up precincts in Nassau County and Queens, according to prosecutors.

Bolton lives with his mother in Queens Village and is an iron worker. He has been held on $10,000 bond.

Bolton has two prior convictions for a DWI and disorderly conduct.
