Police Looking For Vehicle In Connection With Shooting Of Priest In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have released surveillance images of a vehicle being sought in connection with the shooting of a Catholic priest in Queens.

Father Damien Ekete was hailing a cab Sunday on Rockaway Boulevard in the area of 134th Street in Jamaica when police said someone opened fire from a car, hitting him in the arm.

He was treated at Jamaica Hospital and released.

The priest works at the Church of the Holy Spirit in the Bronx.

Police said it appears he was the un-intended victim of a drive-by shooting.
