Police Impersonator On The Loose On Long Island Roads

WESTBURY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Authorities on Long Island said a police impersonator was on the loose Wednesday, trying to pull over drivers on major roads.

Real New York State troopers were out in force Wednesday, looking for the impersonator.

State police have received reports of the man trying to curb drivers on the Northern State Parkway and Meadowbrook Parkway in Westbury.

Police said the man is driving a blue Toyota Matrix with Connecticut plates.
