9/20 CBS2 Tuesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Higher pressure nudges its way in today, but with little success. That said, expect more sun north and west while areas south and east see more clouds and a stray shower. It will still be a little humid out there with highs in the low 80s.

We'll see a little more in the way of clearing tonight with quiet conditions. Temps will fall into the upper 60s by daybreak.

A cold front will swing through early tomorrow and help clear our skies and bring down our humidity levels. So, expect a sunnier day with summer-like highs in the mid 80s.

We transition to fall on Thursday morning at 10:21 a.m., but it's certainly not going to feel like it! Expect a great deal of sunshine that day with highs in the low to mid 80s.

As for Friday, we're still looking good and still a bit above normal in the low to mid 80s.
