NY State Police: Father-Son Meat Thieves Targeted Supermarket Warehouse In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - This sort of takeout is illegal.

Two Brooklyn men face charges for allegedly stealing more than $20,000 worth of meat products from a supermarket warehouse, New York State Police said.

Russell Confusione, 58, and his son Matthew, 35, allegedly broke into Bogopa Services Corp. 19 times from Aug. 4-Sept. 5, NYSP said.

They would then sell the stolen meat products for 75 cents on the dollar, according to NYSP.

The two had both previously worked with the company. They were arrested yesterday.

They face burglary, larceny and trespassing charges. If convicted of the most serious charges, they could spend more than 7 years in prison.
