SECAUCUS, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Firefighters in New Jersey were battling a brush fire on Monday night, which delayed NJ TRANSIT trains as a throng of people tried to commute home.

The blaze started at around 6 p.m. in a brushy area near Secaucus. The fire was burning near the New Jersey Turnpike, Route 1 and 9, and the Lincoln Tunnel.
