Possible Hit-And-Run After Man Found Lying On Queens Street

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man found lying on a street near the Queens side of the Midtown Tunnel may have been the victim of a hit-and-run.

The 53-year-old man was found unconscious near 21st Street and 49th Avenue in Long Island City around 9 p.m. Sunday.

He was rushed to Columbia Presbyterian, where doctors determined he was likely hit by a car, CBS2 reported. Police are canvassing the area, looking for surveillance video.

The victim is listed in critical condition.
