J-Rod? A-Lo? Jennifer Lopez And Alex Rodriguez Reportedly Dating

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Love is in the air for JLo and A-Rod.

People reports "Jenny from the Block" has fallen for former Bronx Bomber Alex Rodriguez.

A source told the magazine that Jennifer Lopez and the 41-year-old former Yankee have been dating for a few weeks. The Daily News reports they've been together for four months.

"I think they'll be cute together," one woman told CBS2's Vanessa Murdock Thursday.

"A power couple," another agreed.

The match made in Hollywood heaven earned a big smile and thumbs up in Lopez's home borough, the Bronx, but not everyone was on board.

"I think she has to slow down," said Vicky Correa.

Rodriguez recently ended a relationship with Silicon Valley CEO Anne Wojcicki while the 47-year-old singer recently broke things off with Drake, People reported. While JLo and Drake were never officially a couple, the two did casually hang out for a stint.

"Drake's the man," one woman said.

"JLo and Drake it's hot, you can't beat it," another added.

Of course, tabloids love to smash couples' names together to make them more catchy. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie became Brangelina. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian became Kimye. When JLo dated Ben Afflek back in 2002, they became Bennifer.

So what name will she share with Rodriguez?

"J-Rod," one woman suggested.

"Roddifer," her friend said.

"A-Lo? I don't know," one man suggested.

"J-Rod, that would be cool," a woman said. "The J in JLo is like more significant than the Lo."

How long will they last?

"A few months, a year," one woman said.

She might be getting a little ahead of herself, but Crystal Salas said she thinks they would make really nice babies.

"They both have beautiful features," she said.

"I wish them happiness," a man said.

A source close to A-Rod tells Entertainment Tonight they don't consider themselves exclusive, and they also know because they're both famous it would be tricky to date other people as well.

Reps for both celebrities had no comment.
