Eli Manning On WFAN: Giants 'Confident' Late In Tight Games

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Eli Manning says he's feeling good about the Giants -- and why wouldn't he?

Big Blue beat the Eagles on Sunday to win their third straight and improve to 5-3.

"I feel good just because ... we're finding ways to win tight football games," Manning said during his weekly appearance on Mike Francesa's WFAN show Monday. "That's just the way the NFL works. A lot of games are tight, and we've been put in that situation a bunch, and we're coming through it. And each one's been a little bit different. Sometimes we've been down and had to fight back. Sometimes defense has got to make a stop, and they're doing it. Every which way, the team's rallying, and we're confident in those situations."
