Email Hoax Falsely Claims Columbia Teachers' College Graduation Is Canceled Due To Threats
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An email hoax confused Teachers College, Columbia University students Tuesday night – a day before they were set to line up for graduation.
A fake letter has been circulating saying ceremonies are canceled until further notice due to threats.
The NYPD told CBS2 late Tuesday there is no truth to the notice and no threat to the students.
Graduation will take place on time on Wednesday.
