Boomer and Craig offered up a well-balanced open to Thursday morning's show.

They started with the Mets, who beat Kansas City 4-3 on Wednesday afternoon, but in the process suffered injuries to Noah Syndergaard and Yoenis Cespedes.

The Yankees had themselves a bit of a roller-coaster ride at the Stadium, but eventually prevailed, beating Colorado 9-8 on Starlin Castro's walk-off homer.

In addition to all of that goodness, we heard about Boomer's day at Baltusrol Golf Club with the great Bill Raftery, and the guys commented on how Mike Francesa handled a situation he encountered during his show on Wednesday, regarding the health of injured Mets right-hander Zack Wheeler.
