Thanks in large part to Bartolo Colon, Tuesday was a good day to wake up a Mets fan.

That's because the Amazins' rode their veteran right-hander to a 7-1 victory on Monday in the opener of their three-game set against the Nationals in Washington.

Boomer is a dyed in the wool Mets fan, so he was pretty much grinning from ear to ear, as was Craig, who had a bit of a glow about him as well.

Matt Harvey will attempt to right himself when he takes the ball for the Mets on Tuesday night in the middle game against the Nationals' Stephen Strasburg.

Boomer and Craig also had the latest news surrounding Ryan Fitzpatrick, who isn't ready to retire just yet, and Tom Brady, who if he gets his way will be headed back to court.
