Olympic skier loses sleep over 60 Minutes story
When 60 Minutes cameras captured extreme sportsman JT Holmes plunging 13,000 feet down the Eiger, one of the most forbidding mountains in the world, some viewers found it exciting, others, unsettling.
One Olympic gold medal skier was left thoroughly frazzled:
omg @jtholmesjr I just watched @60Minutes Now my heart rate is through the roof and I can't sleep.

Some viewers said a lot, by saying a little:

And then there was a protective aunt with these warning words:
Erin Ganser -- don't even think about doing this !!!!! Aunt Bev

Aunt Bev's point raises the question of why Holmes would do it.
"Why does somebody take these risks? I don't know that there is an answer to that," Correspondent Anderson Cooper told 60 Minutes Overtime. "And I'm not sure what it is with JT Holmes, but I don't know that he really knows."
Holmes responded with a nod to Cooper and the 60 Minutes team:
I enjoyed the additional insights from Anderson Cooper , Dan Bussel and Tom Anderson on 60 Minutes Overtime linked here....
