Gymnast says MSU is billing her for appointments with Larry Nassar

Disgraced Olympics and Michigan sports doctor Larry Nassar listened to more victim statements on Monday ahead of sentencing, among them 15-year-old Emma Ann Miller. Miller addressed the court with her mother by her side and said Nassar sexually assaulted her on "multiple occasions" at his Michigan State University (MSU) practice. She said her last appointment with Nassar was in 2016, shortly before he was suspended.

"I'm possibly the last child he will assault," Miller said, adding that her mother is still being billed for appointments where she was assaulted.

An MSU spokesperson later said patients of Nassar will not be billed.

Miller said she trusted Nassar and considered him a member of her family. "There has never been a time in my life when I did not know Larry Nassar, but now I wish I'd never met him," she said.

She told Nassar to reconsider apologizing to the women he assaulted and instead help them identify the people who enabled him at MSU and USA Gymnastics.

"Please, Larry, help my sisters," Miller continued. "You need to confess the facts."

Nassar, 54, has admitted molesting athletes during medical treatment and has been sentenced to 60 years in prison on child pornography charges.

More than 90 women have delivered impact statements to the court during Nassar's sentencing and at least 144 women are expected to address Nassar, his enablers and Ingham County Court Judge Rosemarie Aquilina.

"You will probably never talk to a woman again. Except for one holding a gun, a taser, and a billy club," Miller said. "Which is a good thing."
