Cops: Search continues for Mich. mom, missing 11 months

NORTON SHORES, Mich. - Police investigating the disappearance a woman from her job at a western Michigan gas station nearly 11 months ago say they're actively following up on leads, tips and other information in the case.

Norton Shores police Chief Dan Shaw gave an update on the investigation into the case of Jessica Heeringa to The Muskegon Chronicle, saying the case is the department's "top priority."

There's a reward of over $15,000 for anyone with information that could help the case.

Heeringa, who was 25 when she was kidnapped, disappeared April 26 before she was set to close the station in Norton Shores. Police said there was no indication of a robbery.

Investigators have said a small amount of blood found outside the station belonged to Heeringa and released a description of a silver minivan and a man seen in the area.
