Showers exit Twin Cities Wednesday afternoon

NEXT Weather: 10 p.m. report for Minnesota on April 17, 2024

MINNEAPOLIS — Rain showers will wrap up from west to east Wednesday afternoon.

It won't be as windy as Tuesday but it's still breezy. Highs will be in the 50s both Wednesday and Thursday, with a few showers possible south of the metro on Thursday morning.

Friday and Saturday will be cooler with highs in the low 50s and upper 40s. Frost is possible due to lows close to freezing.

Temps will warm to 60 on Monday, which will be our next chance for rain.

Lisa has been fascinated by the weather all her life. She grew up watching Midwest thunderstorms in her hometown in northwest Indiana. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology with a minor in mathematics from Valparaiso University.
