Taco Vendors Take Over Midtown Global Market

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It was a taco takeover at Midtown Global Market in Minneapolis on Sunday.
Three vendors at Midtown Global Market threw down their best tacos in hopes of being named "Taco of the Town." They included the pork vindaloo with roti taco from Hot Indian Foods, the carne asada azul taco from Manny's Tortas and the bop taco from Taco Cat.
From noon to 5 p.m., guests had the chance to try each taco and vote for their favorite.
A portion of ticket sales went to the Division of Indian Work Horizon Unlimited Food Program.
