Senators Make Friendly Wager On Frozen Four Semifinal

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — U.S. senators from North Dakota and Minnesota are making a friendly wager on the outcome of the NCAA Frozen Four semifinal hockey matchup involving the University of North Dakota and the University of Minnesota.

Republican Sen. John Hoeven of North Dakota is putting up a box of chocolate-covered potato chips, and Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota is wagering a homemade frozen hot dish.

UND plays Minnesota on Thursday for the right to advance to the national championship game, against either Boston College or Union. This year's Frozen Four is in Philadelphia.
