Minnesotans Gather To Mark Pearl Harbor Anniversary

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minnesotans are remembering the lives lost 76 years ago today, when Japanese forces attacked Pearl Harbor.

Survivors attended a commemorative ceremony at Fort Snelling Thusrday morning.

About 2,300 service members died in the attack at Pearl Harbor, marking America's entrance into World War II.

More than 7,800 Minnesotans lost their lives in that war.

Fort Snelling was a training post for hundreds of thousands of military members.
