Sunny, seasonable Tuesday in Twin Cities before first frost of the season

After some northern Minnesota communities dealt with a patchy freeze early Tuesday, freezing temperatures will be widespread north of Interstate 94 on Tuesday night.

Frost is possible in communities north and east of the Twin Cities, namely in Anoka, Sherburne and Washington counties.

Every day this week will be increasingly mild, starting with highs in the mid-60s on Tuesday and ending with the mid-70s this weekend.

Mostly sunny skies will rule, except for a few clouds from time to time on Thursday and Friday.

Sunday may feature the best chance for widespread, albeit light, soaking showers the metro has had in weeks.
