Showers Friday night across much of Minnesota; warm temperatures on tap for Memorial Day weekend
A few rain showers will move through western and central Minnesota Friday night into early Saturday.
Residents in the Twin Cities metro will likely have the chance to see rain until 5 a.m. on Saturday. Locations to the east will end up with less than a quarter-inch of accumulation.
Saturday will have decreasing clouds after the early morning rain and warm to the low 70s.
The Twin Cities will hit the 80s by the end of the weekend and similar temperatures are in store next week.
There are a few isolated storm chances on Sunday and Monday night in southern parts of the state. A large swatch of southeast Minnesota is under a marginal risk for severe weather on Sunday.
There's a chance for rain on Wednesday night.
