Sunny, warm Tuesday in Twin Cities; streak of heavy rain starts late Wednesday

NEXT Weather: 6 p.m. report for Minnesota on June 10, 2025

The sun will return to the Twin Cities on Tuesday with highs in the low 80s.

Wednesday will be in the upper 70s, with similar highs for the rest of the week.

Heavy rain is expected in southern Minnesota from Wednesday night through Friday, with around 3 inches possible.

Thursday will be the rainiest day in the metro, with showers also lingering through Friday.

The metro will get a break from precipitation on Saturday before rain chances return on Sunday and into next week.
