Falling temps Friday in Twin Cities, warmer temps return Sunday

Temperatures are falling Friday in the Twin Cities, with increasing northwest winds making it feel colder through the day. 

Gusts between 30-40 mph will take temps in the metro from the upper 30s down into the teens by Friday evening, though winds will calm down as the day rolls on.

Expect seasonable highs Saturday in the 20s with a mix of clouds and sun.

Highs return to the 30s Sunday — and low 40s on Monday — and will stay mild through most of next week.

The metro will likely stay dry through the weekend and into next week.
