Mild Temps Close Eden Prairie Ice Castles

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Many of us will enjoy this nice stretch of weather, but a popular winter attraction is now closed because of it.

The Eden Prairie Ice Castles broke the bad news on their Facebook page Friday night.

It says due to unseasonably warm temperatures combined with rainy conditions, Friday was their last day open for the season.

Due to rapid deterioration, they say it is safer for the guests if they close early.

Anyone who has already purchased tickets will get an email about what to do with them.
