Maya Moore Earns All-WNBA First Team Honors

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- For the last three years, Minnesota Lynx forward Maya Moore has been one of the top players in the WNBA. She was recognized by the league for it on Thursday.

The WNBA announced Thursday that for the third straight year, Moore was named to the league's All-First Team. She received First Team votes on 37 of 39 ballots and finished with 188 points, only behind league MVP Elena Della Donne.

Moore is a four-time All-Star and averaged 20.6 points per game during the regular season for the Lynx. She was also second in made 3-pointers per game, sixth in steals and eighth in assists.

The Lynx face the Indiana Fever in Game 3 of the WNBA Finals at 7 p.m. Friday. The best-of-five series is tied 1-1.
