Kimmel, Gervais & Other Celebrities Respond To Cecil The Lion's Death
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The story of a Minnesota dentist who allegedly poached a beloved lion in Zimbabwe has sparked an international reaction.
The 13-year-old collared research lion named Cecil was shot when it ventured outside the protection of a National Park. Officials in Zimbabwe say Dr. Walter Palmer paid about $55,000 to hunt the lion.
Now, people around the world, including well-known celebrities, have been sounding off on social media and elsewhere.
