Jerry Kill Announces Gopher Football Fall Camp Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The University of Minnesota football program announced Tuesday its practice schedule for the upcoming fall camp before its season-opening game on Aug. 28.

Head coach Jerry Kill and the Gophers, coming off an 8-5 season and Texas Bowl loss to Syracuse, will open fall practices on Friday, Aug. 1, at the Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex. There will be three practices and one scrimmage that are open to the public before the team's first game.

Those will be at 10:25 a.m. on Aug. 3, 5:15 p.m. on Aug. 4 and 5:15 p.m. on Aug. 5 at the Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex. The Gophers will also have a practice open to the public at 4:40 p.m. on Aug. 9 at TCF Bank Stadium.

Minnesota will have 27 practices before hosting Eastern Illinois at 6 p.m. on Aug. 28 at TCF Bank Stadium.
