Gopher Women Top Seton Hall, 90-57

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The University of Minnesota women's basketball team improved to 4-0 on the season with a 90-57 win over Seton Hall on Sunday at Williams Arena.

The Gophers out-rebounded the Pirates 66-42 in the win. Carlie Wagner led for Gophers in double figures with 20 points. Kenisha Bell added 17 points, Gadiva Hubbard scored 13 and Jasmine Brunson had 11.

Minnesota shot 48.7 percent in the second half to pull away for the win. The Gophers led 40-24 at the half and used a 31-15 run in the third quarter to cruise to the win.

The Gophers travel to the Bahamas this week for the Junkanoo Jam and open the tournament against Georgia on Thanksgiving Day.
