Family Buries St. Cloud Mall Attacker

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The family of a man who stabbed 10 people in a Minnesota mall before being shot and killed says he has been buried.

Federal authorities are investigating the attack at Crossroads Center in St. Cloud by 20-year-old Dahir Adan as a possible act of terrorism.

A family statement Friday described Adan as "a bright and hardworking young man" who "achieved a lot during his short life." The family again expressed condolences to the wounded, none of whom had injuries that were life-threatening.

Family members have said they don't know what might have motivated Adan. Their statement demanded a "transparent and full" investigation.

The FBI this week asked anyone who'd been at the mall and had information or cellphone video to come forward.
