State Boys Hockey Tournament Quarterfinal Pairings Revealed

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Here are the quarterfinal pairings for the 2017 Minnesota Boy's Hockey State Tournament, revealed Saturday morning by the Minnesota State High School League:

Class One-A

Wednesday, March 8

Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake vs. Delano, 11 a.m.

Northfield vs. Mahtomedi, 1 p.m.

Luverne vs. Hermantown (defending state champion), 6 p.m.

St. Cloud Cathedral vs. East Grand Forks, 8 p.m.

Class Two-A

Thursday, March 9

Lakeville South vs. St. Thomas Academy, 11 a.m.

Hill-Murray vs. Moorhead, 1 p.m.

*Wayzata (defending state champion) vs. Eden Prairie, 6 p.m.

Grand Rapids vs. Maple Grove, 8 p.m.

Semifinals are on Friday, March 10, and championship games are set for Saturday, March 11.

All championship round games will be played at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. All consolation round games will be played at Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis.
