Booya Fundraiser Held For Fallen St. Paul Firefighter

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A booya fundraiser is being held in support of fallen St. Paul Firefighter Shane Clifton.

In August, Clifton, 38, died suddenly after collapsing at the fire station while on duty. He was treated by co-workers and EMTs but died several hours later at Regions Hospital. He left behind two children.

On Saturday, Oct. 24 a fundraiser will be held to help Clifton's family.

The fundraiser will run from 12 to 6 p.m. at O'Gara's Bar & Grille on Snelling Avenue in St. Paul.

Booy and T-shirts will be on sale at the event. All proceeds will go toward Clifton's family.
