WALHALLA, N.D. (AP) — Authorities have identified a Minnesota man who died when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a deer in northeastern North Dakota.

The Highway Patrol says 50-year-old Kenneth Letexier, of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, died Friday night after the crash on a Pembina County road about 1 ½ miles east of Walhalla.

A passenger on the motorcycle was taken to a Grand Forks hospital with what the patrol said were serious injuries.
