Adrian Peterson Carried To Locker Room With Knee Injury

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- There wasn't much room for Adrian Peterson to run against the Packers Sunday night, but having him on the field is a much better option than the alternative.

Peterson was injured on a run play during the third quarter against the Packers Sunday night at U.S. Bank Stadium. He was eventually helped off the field to a training table without putting any weight on his right leg.

After an examination, he was carried by two trainers back to the locker room. Peterson was ruled out for the rest of the game with a knee injury.

The extent of the injury is not known, but stay tuned. Peterson's absence would be another big blow to the Vikings after losing Teddy Bridgewater.
