1 Hospitalized After Mpls. House Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A woman was hospitalized early Friday morning after a house fire in Minneapolis.

According to officials, just before 3 a.m. firefighters responded to a call of a duplex fire in the 1600 block of Oliver Avenue North.

The woman was taken to the hospital after suffering an asthma attack related to the fire.

Officials said everyone else in the duplex made it out safely.

The Red Cross is helping to care for the those residents, six adults and six children.

Firefighters are still investigating what caused the fire.
