MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Barry Jenkins, who is from South Florida, is celebrating Monday night after learning "Moonlight" is up for multiple Golden Globe nominations, including best director.

Jenkins responded to the nominations with a tweet, writing, in part, "Thanks to Golden Globes for showing Moonlight so much love this morning."
