Man Trying To Stop Argument Gets Pinned Under Car
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A man trying to stop a fight between a couple in Stock Island in the early morning hours ended up pinned under a car on Wednesday.
According to Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the man who is an unidentified neighbor heard Ricardo Blanco , 23, arguing with his girlfriend in front of an apartment building.
The man came outside and asked the couple to be quiet because he was trying to sleep.
Blanco then allegedly got into his car and began to drive away but not before backing his car into the neighbor.
The victim said he was standing behind Blanco's car when Blanco suddenly put it into reverse and backed into him, knocking him down and pinning him beneath the car.
He was taken to the hospital where he was treated for a broken hand, cuts and abrasions.
Blanco was taken into custody and charged with aggravated battery.
